Sam Houston Philatelics is pleased to announce their next PUBLIC AUCTION of 841 choice lots. The auction will be held Saturday, November 22, 2008. The sale begins promptly at 1:00pm cs, at Carmelo's Ristorante (located across the street from the company's retail location).

Sam Houston still maintains a low 10% commission, so don't miss this exciting sale featuring Classics, Washington/Franklins, Commemoratives, Postage Lots, Collections, Ducks, Autographs and more. Highlights include no. 70a with graded certificate, 356 coil pair, 3c, 5c, 10c and 13c blue papers, 388 coil pair, etc. A NEW DISCOVERY of an 851 on translucent paper will be offered along with a complete set of Graf Zeppelin Plate Blocks.

The autograph section stands out with Hollywood classic stars. There is an outstanding old time autograph book stuffed with famous names such as Bert Lahr, Betty Grable, Bing Crosby, Spencer Tracy, etc. Individual lots of super stars such as Gene Autry, Leonard Bernstein, Ira Gershwin, Dorothy Gish, and Edward G. Robinson, will bring back memories.

A complete set of Federal and Junior Duck stamps (JDS) will be featured, along with a complete set of Federal Duck Plate Blocks! The best known used RW1 is also offered along with Original Remarques, Artist Signed Stamps, Varieties, FDC’s, and Wildlife Art Prints.
