The W. Wilson Hulme II Collection is one of the most important specialized collections of the 3-cent 1851-57 Issue to come on the market since our auction of the Dr. Amonette Collection in 1996. The collection contains rare Essays and Proofs, specialized studies of the shades, as well as private and official perforations. Confederate States are also well-represented, as are some 3c 1861 Issue varieties.
